The world would be far more secure if no one had nuclear weapons.... Senator Chuck Hagel is a former United States Senator from Nebraska. Senator Hagel served on the Senate's Committees for Foreign Relations; Banking; Housing and Urban Affairs; and Intelligence and Rules.

Prior to holding office, Senator Hagel served in the Vietnam War and earned many military decorations and honors, including two Purple Hearts.
