Ray Chambers is a philanthropist and humanitarian. In 2009, he became the first United Nations Special Envoy for Malaria, and, in 2013, became the first Special Envoy for Financing the Health Millenium Development Goals. He also serves as the Special Envoy for Health in Agenda 2030. He is the founder and co-chairman of Malaria No More, the founding chairman of the Points of Light Foundation and co-founder of America’s Promise-The Alliance for Youth. In 2011, he was named one of TIME Magazine’s 100 most influential people for his humanitarian efforts.

Chambers has also been highly involved in revitalization efforts of Newark, NJ and was the founding chairman of the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. He retired as chairman of Wesray Capital Corporation in order to devote his time to philanthropic efforts.

Ambassador Naresh Chandra was a former Indian Cabinet secretary and ambassador to the United States. He also served on the Executive Council of the Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses. Beginning in 1956, Chandra served India in many different capacities, including as a member of the Indian Space Commission and the Indian Atomic Energy Commission. He studied mathematics at the prestigious Allahabad University, where he also later taught.

Ambassador Naresh Chandra passed away on July 9, 2017.

Ambassador Li Changhe is senior advisor and former vice president of the China Arms Control and Disarmament Association, a nonprofit aimed at promoting academic research and activities in the areas of arms control, disarmament and nonproliferation in order to facilitate international endeavors for world peace and security. He previously served as Chinese ambassador for disarmament affairs. Li has represented China at the UN Conference on Disarmament and has sat on several panels at the UN Regional Workshop for East and Southeast Asia for Strengthening the Capacity of the Media in Advocating and Promoting Peace and Disarmament in Asia and the Pacific.

Hervé de Charette served as French minister of foreign affairs from 1995 to 1997 and minister of housing from 1993 to 1995, and has worked in several other ministries within the French government. Charette co-founded the People’s Party for French Democracy (PPDF) in 1986. From 1988 to 2012, he served as deputy for the Maine-et-Loire département, and from 1989 to 2014, he was mayor of Saint-Florent-le-Vieil. He is currently the president of the Franco-Arab Chamber of Commerce and the French Institute of Islamic Finance.

Chen Haosu has led a host of Chinese non-governmental organizations focused on fostering international cooperation, including the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, the Sino-Russian Friendship Association, and the China-EU Association. Previously, he was vice-minister of radio, film, and television, vice mayor of the Beijing municipality, and a researcher at the People’s Liberation Army Military Academy of Sciences. He graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China and was secretary of the China Youth League Central Committee.

Dr. KunMo Chung is an internationally renowned nuclear engineer and science and technology educator. He currently serves as an advisor to the Korea Electric Power Corporation. He previously served as minister of science and technology in South Korea, president of the General Conference of International Atomic Energy Agency of the UN, and chairman of the International Nuclear Energy Academy. He has held positions on the faculties of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the Polytechnic Institute of New York, Korea Advanced Institute of Science, and Technology, the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne, and George Mason University, Korea. Chung is a charter member of the International Nuclear Safety Group and a fellow at the American Nuclear Society.

The Reverend Richard Cizik is president of the New Evangelical Partnership for the Common Good. He served for ten years as vice president for governmental affairs of the National Association of Evangelicals, a post he left in 2008 after expressing support for civil unions. He has been a leader in bringing evangelicals and scientists together in the search for common ground on climate change.

In 2002, Cizik was a participant in Climate Forum 2002 at Oxford, which produced the “Oxford Declaration” on climate change. In 2005, The New York Times dubbed him the “Earthy Evangelist” for his advocacy on climate change. He was named to TIME Magazine’s list of the 100 most influential people in 2008 and placed on Fast Company’s list of “Most Creative Minds” in 2006.

Cizik has written over 100 articles and editorials and is the author and editor of “The High Cost of Indifference.” He also contributed to the landmark document, “For the Health of the Nation: An Evangelical Call to Civic Engagement.”

Charles ‘Joe’ Clark served as prime minister of Canada from 1979 to 1980. Prior to his political career, Clark taught political science at the University of Alberta and worked as a journalist. He was first elected to Parliament in 1972, and was the youngest Canadian ever to win the prime minister position. He has also served as the special representative of the United Nations secretary-general for Cyprus and as secretary of state for external affairs. He was the chairman of the Commonwealth Committee of Foreign Ministers on Southern Africa and was active in the struggle to end apartheid.

Clark has been a visiting scholar at American University and the University of California-Berkeley and is a founding member of the Pacific Council on International Policy. He serves as the vice chairman of the Global Leadership Foundation and as Professor of Practice for Public-Private Sector Partnerships at the Institute for the Study of International Development at McGill University. In 2013, Clark published the book “How We Lead: Canada in a Century of Change.”
