Kellner was a Fulbright Scholar in Hungary where he established Hungary’s Environmental Management & Law Association. He is also a crown fellow at The Aspen Institute and a young global leader at the World Economic Forum.

Mr. Don Kendall

Don Kendall was the co-founder of PepsiCo, Inc. where he served as chairman of the board and chief executive officer. He was the former director of BUY.com, the Institute for Environmental and Natural Resources at the University of Wyoming and the Wildlife Heritage Foundation of Wyoming. Before joining Pepsi-Cola Company as a fountain-syrup sales representative, Kendall was a distinguished World War II naval aviator. Throughout his career, he was active in various cultural, economic and political organizations including the Chamber of Commerce, the National Center for Resource Recovery, the American Ballet Theatre Foundation and the US-USSR Trade and Economic Council. Kendall was inducted into the National Business Hall of Fame in 1987 by Fortune magazine.

Kendall passed away on September 19, 2020.

Former Governor and U.S. Senator from Nebraska Bob Kerrey is a lobbyist with the Carmen Group in Washington, D.C. He previously served as president of The New School, a university in New York, N.Y., founded on strong democratic ideals and innovative educational practices until 2010. Kerrey served on the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and was a member of the 9/11 Commission. He served for three years in the United States Navy SEAL special forces unit and was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor in 1970.

Amb. Shaharyar M. Khan

Ambassador Shaharyar M. Khan is an accomplished former Pakistani diplomat. After serving as Pakistan’s ambassador to Jordan, the United Kingdom and France, he became Pakistan’s foreign secretary, holding the post between 1990 and 1994. Khan was then appointed the UN secretary-general’s special representative to Rwanda where he remained for two years overseeing UN activities in the country. In his retirement, Khan has written a number of books on history and contemporary affairs, including an account of the events in Rwanda.

Khan is a member of the Global Zero Commission.

From 1990 to 1992, he served as vice-chair of the Commission on National and Community Service. Recognized by TIME Magazine as one of America’s top 50 leaders under 40, Khazei has received numerous awards, including the Reebok Human Rights Award and the Jefferson Award for Public Service.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kibaroglu

Professor Dr. Mustafa Kibaroglu is dean of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences and director of MEF Strategy at the Center for International Security Studies and Strategic Research at MEF University in Istanbul. Prior to his appointment, Kibaroglu taught courses on arms control and disarmament in the department of international relations of Bilkent University in Ankara, Turkey. From 2004 to 2005, he was a joint research fellow at the Harvard University Belfer Center’s Project on Managing the Atom.

Kibaroglu has also held fellowships at the Center for Nonproliferation Studies at the Monterey Institute of International Studies, the International Atomic Energy Agency and the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research. He is a member of the Council of Pugwash Conferences on Science and World Affairs.

Killelea is also the founder of the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP), an international think tank dedicated to building a greater understanding of the interconnection between business, peace and economics. IEP’s Global Peace Index — the first-ever tool ranking the peacefulness of countries and identifying the correlations of peace — is now considered the benchmark for measuring the peacefulness of nations.

President Frederik Willem de Klerk

Frederik Willem de Klerk was president of South Africa from 1989 to 1994. In 1990, de Klerk gave orders to dismantle South Africa’s nuclear weapons program before revealing its existence to the international community. During his presidency, de Klerk also brought apartheid to an end. De Klerk’s efforts led to South Africa’s acceptance into the international community after years of isolation and he was awarded a shared Nobel Peace Prize with President Nelson Mandela in 1993. In 1999, de Klerk founded The FW de Klerk Foundation.

De Klerk passed away on November 11, 2021.
